Selfless Service

Overview

With the advice to “Love All, Serve All” and “Help Ever, Hurt Never”, Sathya Sai Baba has inspired many service projects, large and small in over 120 countries. These include water projects that bring clean and safe drinking water to millions of people, two state-of-the-art hospitals in India where people with little or no access to healthcare can receive comprehensive medical care, including life-saving surgery, for free. Selfless service is encouraged at the community level as well where the members of local Sai Centers serve at projects such as medical/dental/vision camps, help with international disaster relief, serve in soup kitchens, provide clothing to the homeless, sing to elders in nursing homes, and take the disabled on nature outings, to mention just a few.
